My Approach

Creative Arts Psychotherapy provides you with the opportunity to process and reflect using a range of creative resources. Sometimes talking about yourself is challenging; how can you express such complexity using only words? Creative Arts Psychotherapy provides you with the aesthetic distance to see things from a new perspective. Trauma can be held deep in the body and some creative mediums have the ability to unlock and release this toxicity.

“It helps when I struggle to find the words, when I’m too angry, despairing or confused to know what I think. It gives me a voice.”

Mind UK

Colorful stepping stones in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple on a wooden floor, with baskets and toys in the background.
A person holding a fan of postcards with artwork on a wooden table, surrounded by colorful yarn, a flower arrangement in a vase, a candle, and various craft supplies.
Close-up of a person's hands holding a piece of bright blue yarn, with a pile of similar yarn on a wooden table. The person is wearing several silver rings and a bracelet, and has painted fingernails. The background shows a blurred indoor setting, possibly a cozy room.

I work from home in Oxfordshire. I provide a private, welcoming space; dedicated to giving my clients a confidential and non-judgemental space to explore their issues at their own pace. If I am working with a young child, I welcome parents to attend. I work predominately in person, but I do provide online support, if that is easier for the client. I always offer both a free telephone call and an introductory session to establish whether I might be the right fit before moving forwards with scheduled sessions.

My Location

A living room with a wooden dining table, colorful chairs, a white sofa, red curtains, a chandelier, and a wall with wooden paneling. Various toys and miscellaneous items are scattered on the floor and table.
